Your plugin is ready.

Installing a premium WordPress plugin takes six short steps. Keep the downloaded .zip file as it is, upload it from your WordPress dashboard, and activate it. No coding is required.

Install your purchased plugin

Download the plugin

Open your WP-Buy account and download the purchased plugin. Your browser should save it as a .zip file.

Open your WordPress dashboard

Sign in to the admin area of the WordPress website where you want to use the plugin.

Go to Plugins → Add Plugin

From the WordPress admin menu, open Plugins, then choose Add Plugin or Add New Plugin.

Choose “Upload Plugin”

At the top of the Add Plugins screen, select Upload Plugin. WordPress will show a file chooser.

Select the ZIP and install

Choose the plugin .zip file you downloaded from WP-Buy, then click Install Now.
Choose File → Install Now

Activate the plugin

When WordPress finishes installing the files, click Activate Plugin. The plugin is now ready to configure.

Important: upload the ZIP file — do not unzip it first.

WordPress expects the installable plugin package in ZIP format. If your browser automatically extracts downloaded ZIP files, use the original ZIP from your Downloads folder.

That’s it. Your plugin is active.

  • Look for the plugin’s new menu or settings link in WordPress Admin.

  • Review the plugin’s documentation for product-specific setup options.

  • If your purchase includes updates, keep your license or account details handy for future versions.

If something goes wrong

Common installation problems

“The package could not be installed”

Confirm that you selected the actual installable plugin ZIP from your WP-Buy downloads, not an extracted folder or another archive.

“Destination folder already exists”

An older copy may already be installed. Check Plugins → Installed Plugins first. For upgrades, follow the plugin’s update instructions before removing an existing version.

The ZIP is too large to upload

Your hosting account may have a low upload limit. Ask your host to increase it or install the plugin through your hosting File Manager/FTP if needed.

Do I need to unzip the plugin before uploading it?

No. Upload the installable ZIP file directly through WordPress. WordPress extracts and installs the plugin for you.

Where can I download my purchased plugin again?

Sign in to WP-Buy and open My Account → Downloads. Your available purchased downloads are listed there.

Will installing a plugin change my website immediately?

Installation alone copies the plugin files. The plugin begins running after activation. Some plugins may then require configuration before their features appear on the front end.

What should I send to support if installation fails?

Send the plugin name, your WordPress version, the exact error message, and—if possible—a screenshot of the error. Avoid sending passwords in a normal support message.
