Some of our great customers ask for this, So we decide to write an article to describe some important things about this feature
Customer: How come the video isn’t recommended to be disabled? Thank you!
It’s not recommended because all embedded videos depend on HTML IFrams and these IFrames are always hard to control because IFrame is a page come from the host website and you can’t always know its contents, So how to control unknown content?! That’s the main difficulty.
The second one is the difference between video websites (youtube, Vimeo, Local videos, etc..) and every website using a custom made video player!
Some video players have a Start/Stop Button in the middle, Others have it in the bottom-left or bottom-right, etc..
We search a lot about any technique to prevent right-click on videos without issues but still have some
First, we decide to remove this option but because of some customer’s requests, we decide again to include this feature with a (not recommended) hint beside it.
Important note: Full-screen video protection is out of control because when the video opened in the full mode it gets out from all scripts and runs over a new unscripted window.
Thank you
